Sparkling Waves

This shawl turned out to be a sparkling and glittering history and the name came to me when we (read my darling husband and I) was on a cruise to Norway to celebrate his 50th birthday. We had a magnificent weather that morning when the ship went into the beautiful Oslofjord and the waves was sparkling and glittering in all its glory. We made alot of great memories that day and it will stay in our minds for a long time.

The Sparkling Waves shawl is made in the shape of a half octagon, I have used 2 strands of yarn all the way through the pattern. 1 strand of Scheeepjes Stardust, which is a beautiful glittering yarn (and its very hard to capture that glitter in a picture) and 1 strand of Scheepjes Whirl. The pattern can easily be adjusted to any size you wish

Den här sjalen blev en bubblande, glittrande historia och namnet kom till mig när vi (min älskade man och jag) åkte på kryssning till Norge för att fira hans 50-årsdag. Vi hade ett magnifikt väder den morgonen vi åkte in i den vackra Oslofjorden och vågorna glittrade i kapp med gryningssolen. Vi skapade många fina minnen den dagen som kommer att finnas kvar länge.

Sparklingwaves sjalen är gjord som en halv octagon. Jag har virkat den med 2 trådar garn genom hela mönstret. 1 tråd av Scheepjes Stardust, vilket är ett vackert glittrande garn (glittret är väldigt svårt att fånga på bild) och 1 tråd av Scheepjes Whirl. Mönstret kan lätt justeras till den storlek du önskar
